Maria Mia was born on the San Antonio Riverwalk in 2012, as the continuation of a long family legacy of Mexican restaurants. Siblings Irasema, Mario and Miro Rodriquez opened Maria Mia with the vision of adding contemporary and innovative flare to authentic Mexican and TexMex dishes. The Rodriguez family had previously owned and operated several Ninfa's Mexican restaurants, before deciding to branch out into a new concept.

 

Maria Mia blends modern with classic from its design to its menu, and endeavors to combine the best elements of Texas cuisine with Mexican. Fans of the traditional can enjoy everything from quesadillas to sizzling fajitas, while those looking for something new to try can enjoy crawfish enchiladas, brisket nachos, among other fusion dishes. And with a vigorous love of all things tequila, we bring you some exciting drink options, such as our fresh-made house margaritas and infused tequila shots!
